In Quichua the ant that is abundant in this region is called Yuturi.
The complex Cabañas Yuturi, a true paradise, is situated only 180km to the east of the city of Coca on a little hill with a magnificent view of the Yuturi River and the nearby lagoons. To get to this complex you will have to navigate 5 hours on Napo River. We offer comfortable canoes with a lifesaver for each passenger and roofing for longer journeys.
The Cabañas Yuturi consist of 15 double and triple cabins built of original material from the region in order to conserve the harmony of the landscape. The cabins are very comfortable and dispose of a private bathroom with shower and a mosquito net covering each bed. The complex also counts with a spacious dining room where you can enjoy excellent food. Qualified naturalist guides and local guides who know the area like the back of their hands offer their services.
POTENTIAL ATTRACTION: Bird Observation
Yuturi is considered one of the best spots to observe birds. Studies carried out by ornithologists documented the existence of more then 400 species of birds which can be found in the different habitats which form the Biological Reserve Yuturi. To facilitate the observation of birds the Cabañas Yuturi have a big observation tower situated only a 20 minutes walk from the cabins. This tower allows us to watch numerous specious of birds and a spectacular landscape.

· 5 days Cabañas Yuturi (Monday to Friday)
· 4 days Cabañas Yuturi (Friday to Monday)
Groups with a minimum of 5 persons can check in every day of the week.
