Indian Markets

El Ecuador is a land full of history, customs and folklore. Its ancient culture is reflected in our people and especially in the Indian markets and craft fairs. The most famous Indian market in all of Latin America is that of Otavalo.

Some of the other colorful trade fairs are the Pujilí fair (Wednesday), the Latacunga fair (Saturday), the Indian market in Zumbahua (Saturday), the Indian market in Saquisilí (Thursday), the craft market in Baños (usually every day), the craft fair in Pelileo (usually every day) and the Salasaca fair (Sunday).
