If you plan to visit the Galapagos Islands without the services of a nature guide, you will need to apply the followings rules and regulations:

 

1. No animal should be perturbed and any plant or rock should be moved. 

 

2. No material can be transported to the Islands or between islands.

 

3. The animals should not be touched.  

 

4. Any food should not be given to the animals. 

  

5. It's prohibit to scare or to pursue all alive being, of their nest or place of rest.

 

6. It is not allow to take foreign animals to the islands.  

 

7. The waste of all type should be taken out of the Islands. 

 

8. It is not allow buying souvenirs as eyeteeth of marine wolf, shells of turtles or tortoises.

 

9. If there was urgency of buying some of these, go to the Service of National Park. 

 

10. When it camps, don't make bonfires. 

 

11. Don't write on the rocks names or sentences of any nature. 

 

12. Don't have pain of showing your conservationist attitude. 

 

13. Request information to the Service of National Park on any trip in Galapagos.
