Day 1: |
Arrival in Quito or
Guayaquil. Transfer In |

Day 2:
|
Transfer Out, flight Quito
– San Cristóbal Island: Highlands - Interpretation Centre (Galápagos
in semi-natural state), barbecue in a country house in the
highlands, in the afternoon hiking to El Junco Lake – Viewpoint.
Adventure Sports: hiking |

Day 3: |
San
Cristóbal Island: Lobos Island – Leon Dormido – Puerto Grande Beach.
Dinner in a
fisherman´s house. Adventure Sports: sea-kayaking, snorkeling and
swimming. |

Day 4: |
Transfer from San
Cristobal Island to Santa Cruz Island, lunch in the village, in the
afternoon highlands, visit of the Primicias Ranch, descent to the
ranch on bike to be able to enjoy Galápagos in natural state and see
the lava tunnels. Adventure Sports: swimming and mountainbiking. |

Day 5: |
Santa Cruz Island: Bay
Tour - Puerto Ayora - Punta Estrada, The German´s Beach – Las
Grietas – lunch in the village – in the afternoon Charles Darwin
Station. Dinner and short briefing about the social and human part
of Galápagos in a typical family´s house. Adventure Sports:
kayaking, snorkeling and swimming. |

Day 6: |
Transfer from Santa Cruz
Island to Isabela Island: Circumvention of the Union Rock, seabird
observation, kayaking and snorkeling in Tintoteras. Lunch in the
village. Cycling to the Muro de las Lagrimas (Wall of Tears) and
visit of the 7 Paths. Adventure sports: sea-kayaking, hiking,
cycling. |

Day 7:
|
Isabela Island: excursion to Sierra Negra Volcano and Chico Volcano.
On this day, a 5 to
6 hours hiking tour will take place. Box lunch on the way. We offer
horses for individual passengers (up to 5 passengers). Adventure
sports: horseback riding and hiking. |

Day 8: |
Transfer to the Tunnels of
Cape Rose or Finado Bay (Isabela Island). Lunch in the village. In
the afternoon, Giant Tortoise Breeding Centre of Galápagos. Flamingo
Lagune and wetlands (flamingo observation) Adventure Sports:
snorkeling and swimming. |

Day 9: |
Transfer from Isabela
Island to Santa Cruz Island, Puerto Ayora by public speed boat.
Transfer from Puerto Ayora to Baltra Island (airport) by public bus.
On this day passengers will be given the opportunity to visit the
Twin Craters. Passengers can also take an inter-island 30-minute
flight that connects with the flight to the continent: Baltra –
Quito (No flight on Sundays). In this case the visit to the Twin
Craters will not be possible. |

Transfer Out. Departure
from Quito or Guayaquil |

The package includes: Accommodation, breakfast and lunch (on several days you will be served a box lunch; on the first day no breakfast, on the last day no lunch), speed boat (public/private) for the transfers between the islands, bilingual English speaking naturalist guide, land transportation, snorkel equipment, assistance at the airport in Quito or Guayaquil.

The package does not include: Airfare round trip, entrance fee for Galapagos National Park (US$ 100), transit control card (US$ 10), dinners, personal expenses, tips and wet suit.

It is possible to organize an extension package to Floreana Island (2 or 3 days).

Important Information
• Bring a medical or travel insurance
• Luggage:
We suggest bringing a 20 kg suitcase and a carry-on bag with you since these are allowed by the airlines. Please keep in mind that your trip in Galapagos is in the open sea and includes hikes, swimming, snorkeling and other physical activities that require comfortable, lightweight and informal clothing good for any kind of weather.
• On the flights between the islands a 14 kg suitcase and carry-on bag are permitted.
• Clothing:
For the hot months (December – May) we recommend a bathing suit, t-shirts, shorts, sunglasses, cap or hat, insect repellent, sunscreen, sports shoes good for walking in lava and on rocks as well as sandals. For the cooler months (June- November) a waterproof jacket or poncho and lightweight pants are necessary. Other important items are lip balm, eye drops, plastic bags for electronic equipment, binoculars, patches or pills for seasickness, a photo or video camera and sufficient film, medicine normally taken and a wet suit. We also offer wetsuits for rent. Please ask for the rates in advance.” |
