Diving Tours
We have diving
tours leaving from Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz Island every day.
Departure is approximately 8 a.m., depending on the distance to
be traveled to each site. The tours return between 3:30 and 4:30
p.m.
All daily
diving schedules include::
·
2 boats for diving in small groups
· Complete diving equipmen
·
Aluminum tanks with 3000 psi/207 bar
·
5 to 7mm suit
·
Type BCD jacket
·
Regulator with Octupus,
pressure gauge and depth gauge
·
Weights, mask, snorkel,
fins and booties
·
Divemaster in water with divers (at least
1 divemaster per 6 divers)
·
Transfer from Puerto Ayora to the diving
sites and return
·
Drinking water and snacks and a box lunch
if the diving site is outside Academy Bay
If the diver uses his/her own equipment, there is a $15
daily discount per dive day and we will provide the tanks and
weights.
Necessary
Information:
All daily diving programs
are adapted for each client. Priority is given to safety; consequently,
we require the following information regarding the diving experience
of each diver in order to adapt the program adequately to fit
the interests and abilities of each client.
1. Type of license (level and training agency)
2. Number of dives made
3. Date of last dive
4. Experience in wall diving
5. Experience in diving in cold waters with 6 mm suits
6. What the diver would like to see in Galapagos
With
this information, we can arrange a good program and the client
will be ready to experience one of the most fantastic diving adventures
ever..
